Matt is a physician-scientist who joined the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2015. He received his BS/MS from Yale University and attended Harvard University for his MD/PhD, where he completed his PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Laurie Glimcher. After completing his residency in pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Matt was able to establish his research lab after receiving an NIH Director's Early Independence Award and a Burroughs Wellcome Career Award for Medical Scientists. In addition to his research, Matt also serves as a pathologist and is the associate director of the pathology residency training program.
